Jonah was sent on a mission by God to tell the people of Nineveh that God is a loving, caring and is real. But Jonah said no and ran away onto a boat that was going the other way to Nineveh. God found out what Jonah was doing and sent a big storm. Jonah was thrown overboard and landed into a whale. He stayed there for 3 days and 3 nights. On the 4th day Jonah got out of the big whale's stomach. He went back to god and done what God said.
