Zinny Taylor is the main character in the novel Chasing Redbird by Sharon Creech. She is a thirteen year old girl who lives in Bybanks in Kentucky and in a small house. Zinny lives with her big family in a big house.
Zinny is feeling guilty because her cousin Rose died from whoopee cough and her Aunt Jessie's death. She feels excluded from her family because her family is loud and noisy but Zinny is a introverted person. Zinny is a shy girl because she doesn't talk a lot.
Zinny looks very like her mother because they have dark hair, small nose and brown eyes. She has long and skinny legs. Zinny's look is dark except for her skin because her skin is white.
Zinny's behaviour is very odd because she talks to baby Rose. She is secretive because she sneaks into Uncle Nate and Aunt Jessie's house so she can talk to Rose. Zinny tells fibs like there friend Jake Boone.
Zinny blames herself for the deaths that she thinks is her fault. She is an intelligent person because she thinks of plans to go away from the house. She's a loyal person to her family.
